I am thankful Feb.11,2025

I have been blessed so far with fifty five years of life, and in that fifty five years I have spent almost thirty five of them with an incredible woman. I have been with her longer than anyone else in this world, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am thankful for my wife in my life. Together we have children, who are both a blessing in their own unique ways. I also have three grandchildren currently. My grandchildren call me Peep, and that’s alright by me. Being a Peep was unusual at first, but I have grown into the name and made a Peep legendary with my grandkids. I have been self employed for the past eight years, and the freedom that allows is an incredible way to live. I am free by the grace of God. The past three years have been the most difficult, but God has a plan, and I will trust in Him. Since November of 2023 I have been employed by someone else in addition to operating my own business. I’m a surviver in tough times because my God holds me up when I can’t see the way forward. I will survive, and I will strive again in the Lords own timing.

I can recall at least two times in my life that I should not have survived. I should be dead if it wasn’t for God intervening in my life. Once was a medical incident where a blood clot shattered into both of my lungs. It should of killed me, but I survived! The other was an accident in my business at a clients residence. I was mowing a lakeside property and made a mistake by directing the mower up hill. I placed myself between the mower and the lake. It happened quickly, and I went in the lake first followed by my 500+ pound walk behind mower. If that mower had landed on me, there is no way I could have got out from under it. I am truly blessed, and I am thankful for this life God has given to me. I am thankful for the people He has placed in my family. I am thankful for the “things” He has chosen to bless me with.
